Coach Jennifer Cron

Coach Jennifer Cron played volleyball, basketball, soccer and ran track at Garland High School, graduating in 1993. While at GHS she was captain of the varsity team and was 1st team all-district and all-area, along with various all-tournament awards. Following high school, she attended Sam Houston State University on a full volleyball scholarship.While at SHSU she was captain, team MVP, Southland Conference MVP, and All-Region.

Coach Cron holds several records at SHSU, including leader in career digs and most kills in a single match and was named to various all-tournament teams. After college graduation, she became the first assistant for SHSU Volleyball for 4 years while she completed her Masters in Kinesiology.

She started her teaching/coaching career at North Garland High School where she was the varsity volleyball coach. She came to Plano Senior High School last year after coaching at Arlington High School as the Junior Varsity and Varsity Assistant. Coach Cron also has coached with North Dallas Juniors Club Volleyball Team since 2001, earning trips to Nationals with her team the last 7 years.

Coach Cron led the Lady Wildcats to the regional quarter-finals during her first year as head coach. The High School Sports Magazine awarded her the "2007 Coach of the Year Award for Collin County" also in her first year here at Plano Senior. Coach Cron is proud to be coaching at Plano Senior High School and is excited about continuing the success of the program this season!

Coach Lauren Moffett

Coach Moffett returns this year to coach/teach in Plano ISD. She grew up in Plano, attending Hughston, Haggard, Vines and Plano Senior High. She played varsity volleyball for three years, earning all-district honors her junior and senior year, as well as several all-tournament awards. Coach Moffett also was an alternate All-State selection her senior year. She played club volleyball for North Dallas Juniors and for Skyline.

Upon graduating from PSHS, Coach Moffett played volleyball on scholarship for four years at Ole Miss as middle blocker. She led the team in blocks in the 2006-2008 seasons, as well as earning eighth place in the South Eastern Conference in service aces. She helped lead her team to their first NCAA volleyball tournament in school history in 2006 and again in 2007. While at Ole Miss, she also served as the volleyball representative for the SEC Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Returning to her alma mater to coach and to teach American history is the realization of a dream for Coach Moffett. She is proud to continue to be a part of the winning tradition at Plano Senior High School.
